Archaeological Study
Before we started construction, we were required to have an archaeological study done. Locations on the site that were back yards and privies were determined, and the archaeos dug in, below more modern remaining foundations and pipes. Here's their final study, which inspired us to work on the story of a girl who lived on the site in 1830. Now I share an office with 6 boxes of artifacts, including the broken china that the family ate their meals on, and a pipe stem that Father puffed on for years.
